Existing InAlbum 1.0/2.0 customer

If you are a paid customer of InAlbum 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 (we will call it InAlbum 1.x/2.x in the future), here are some changes in InAlbum 3.0 you might be interested to know.

How do I open my existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x show in InAlbum 3.0?

InAlbum 3.0 will automatically ask you if you want to copy your existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x show if it found one at startup. If you agree, it will make a duplicate of your existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x show without modifying the original so you can still use InAlbum 1.x/2.x as normal to work on those show.

Will InAlbum 3.0 use my templates/clipart/music files I've downloaded from theme packs?

Yes, InAlbum 3.0 will automatically ask you if you want to copy your existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x artwork if it found one at startup. InAlbum 1.x templates can only support 50 photos and does not support the new features of page/show customization. However you can overwrite them with InAlbum 3.0 templates by downloading InAlbum 3.0 theme packs from http://www.inalbum.com/updates.html

What happen to my inalbum.com account I created in InAlbum 1.x/2.x?

You need to create a special account for all InAlbum 3.0 customer. So all existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x customer must re-register into this new account. However, we provide you tools located at http://www.inalbum.com/login.html where you can copy across your existing InAlbum 1.x/2.x show in your inalbum.com 1.x/2.x account into the new 3.0 account.

Will I be able to install a theme pack from website for InAlbum 3.0?

Yes you can. But please make sure you download and install the theme pack special for InAlbum 3.0.

Does InAlbum 3.0 offer the same amount of templates/theme packs/clipart/music as InAlbum 1.x/2.x?

Yes and even it has more!

Changes on clipart at Special/Page & Photo category

InAlbum 1.x uses some clipart at Special / Page & Photo category to further customize the show. Eg: Applying different transition delay for specific page, hiding navigation button, hiding page number, etc. InAlbum 3.0 support all of these right build into the graphical user interface. Any settings relevant to specific page can be found under Page Settings button at the top of Decorate tab (only available for InAlbum 3.0 template). Any settings relevant to overall show can be found under Customize More button at Music & Settings tab.
