Import Video window have 3 tabs. General, Effect and Control.
In General tab you can select a range of video to import. By default the range is set from 0 to the current slide delay. To change the range, simply drag the start and end arrow at the video slider. When you drag the start arrow, the end arrow will moves together with it. Also when you drag the end arrow to the right. However when you drag the end arrow to the left, the start arrow does not follow. This is intentionally done so that you can easily make sure that the video range is the same duration as the slide delay. However if you want to select a range without this restriction, you can check Adjust page delay to video duration. This time when you drag the end arrow to the right, the start arrow will not follow. If you select a video range longer than the current slide delay, the current slide delay will automatically adjusted.
Resize video
To resize the video to a different size.
Do not import audio
When checked, the video audio will not be used.
Playback
To set the video playback option. There are 2 options. Play immediately (the video will starts playing as soon as the slide is showing). Click to play (you need to click the video play button to play the video. This option is not available when you disable video control at Control tab).
Compression
To select the video/audio compression
In Effect tab, you can apply a video effect. You can add one effect on top of another. To add effect, simply select the effect from the list and click Apply button. Use undo button to remove the previously added effect. Click Restore original video to remove all effects. Use the brightness and contrast slider to adjust the video brightness and contrast.
In Control tab you can choose whether you want to add control to your video. Check/uncheck Have control to do so. When you check Have control, you can select the control you want from the control list. Use the control category on the left to browse.
