How do I get here? From Main Menu, click Open button below the show thumbnail. You will be directed to Opening Show Window. Click Make Picture CD/DVD
Overview Picture CD/DVD is playable on some VCD/DVD player. The pictures are all saved as a JPEG file in high resolution to keep the quality high when viewed on TV. Check if your VCD/DVD player support Picture CD format. It usually written as Picture CD or a JPEG. This feature is only available in InAlbum 3.0 Deluxe version.
Making Picture CD/DVD To make a picture CD/DVD, you need to go through 4 simple steps
1. Specify some initial settings
This is usefull if you want to also include some other photos/videos/sound files into the CD/DVD you want to give away to friends. You can check Resize and compress all recognized image file if you want InAlbum to automatically resize and compress all photo files in the additional folder to burn. You can change the compression and resize settings by clicking on the Settings button.
2. Selecting show to be included in disc, reordering shows and giving disc title InAlbum lets you put more than one show into a disc. The left window showing show thumbnail available to be put into disc while the right window showing the show will be included in disc. By default the currently opened show is included. To include a show into disc, double click on the show thumbnail on the left window. The Current disc space used information above the right window tells you how much space already used in the disc
Excluding show from disc Double click on show thumbnail on the right window.
Including all shows Click Add All button
Excluding all shows Click Remove All button
Reordering shows in disc Click and drag show thumbnail on the right window to reorder it and drop it at the desired location
Giving a disc title Type in Title text box. disc title will be used as a disc volume
3. Specify additional settings When you ready to make a disc, click Make disc Now button. A window will open showing where the intermediate files will be placed in your hard disk before they are burned to disc. It will also tell you how much space will be required and how much space available on that drive. You can change the location of the intermediate files by clicking on Browse button.
4. Start making a disc Click OK to continue burning the disc.
You will be prompted to insert a blank disc into your disc Writer. Make sure you insert a blank disc. Then click OK. Burning process will takes a while, depending on your computer and disc Writer speed. It is advised not to run a complex process during the burning process.
