From Main Menu, click Open button below the show thumbnail. You will be directed to Opening Show Window. Click Make Screen saver
Overview
Making Screen saver gives you two functionalities:
| • | Create and install a screen saver into my desktop |
To turn your show into a screen saver and install it into your desktop.
| • | Make an executable which install screen saver |
To turn your show into a screen saver, wrap it into an executable file which install the screen saver on someone else computer when executed. This is a very useful tool to share your screen saver with other people. You can even make your screen saver expire after several days of usage and require user to enter a license number/registration code. You can also customize the screen saver installation window with your detail, website address and company logo.
Create and install screen saver into my desktop
Follow the 3 simple steps.
1. Give your screen saver a name
Type in the screen saver name at the Screen saver name text box.
2. Choose to install screen saver into desktop
Choose Create and install a screen saver into my desktop
3. Create and install the screen saver
Click OK
Create an executable which install screen saver
Follow the 4 simple steps
1. Give your screen saver a name
Type in the screen saver name at the Screen saver name text box.
2. Choose to create a screen saver installation
Choose create executable which install screen saver
3. Choosing target folder
Choose the target folder where the executable file will be created by clicking on Browse button
Type in the name of the file in File name text box
4. Create screen saver installation
Click OK
Minimizing the screen saver executable file size
InAlbum provide a compression tool to minimize the screen saver executable file by compressing the show.
By default the exported show will be compressed for screen saver according to default settings:
| • | Photo quality is set to high |
| • | Music file is compressed to medium quality |
To modify this settings, click Settings button at the top of the window.

Customizing screen saver installation window and adding registration detail
As discussed previously, you can customize your screen saver installation window with your detail, website address and company logo. To do this, click Settings button next to Registration / splash screen settings.
Splash screen
A splash screen is a window which will appear when your screen saver installation is executed. Below is one example of a splash screen.
Title
The title appear on the screen saver installation splash screen.
Company Name/Author
This will also appear on the screen saver installation splash screen.
Logo
Check to have a logo.
To select your own logo, click Browse button. Logo file can be any image format supported by InAlbum (JPG, GIF, PNG, TGA, BMP). The recommended logo size is 300x50 pixels.

Registration
A registration is a way to limit the usage of your screen saver. You can set your screen saver to expired in a few days and require user to enter a registration code to continue using it.
There are 3 possibilities you can choose:
| • | No registration required and never expires |
Your screen saver does not require user to enter a registration code and it will never expires.
| • | Need registration code to run |
User will be asked for a registration code before he can install your screen saver.
| • | Expired in ... days |
Your screen saver will expire in x days. When the time comes, a window will show up notifying user that his/her screen saver is expired.
If you want to allow user to enter a registration code to continue using your screen saver when it expires, check allow user to enter registration code to remove expiration.
