In this step you can add animated/static clipart, sound, speech bubble and your own voice to each photo.
| • | Select a photo you want to decorate by clicking on photo thumbnail. Preview of selected photo will be displayed on the center window. |
| • | Decoration window on the right provide you tools to add Clip Art, Speech Bubble, Sound and your Recorded Voice also to change some page settings. Depending on which tool button (Clip Art, Speech Bubble, Sound, Recorded Voice, Settings), the window below it will show you all available objects you can add. |
Click on Facial Fun text box to change the object category and choose Hair Fun
| • | Now click on Cartoon Hair thumbnail. Another window will show all available Cartoon Hair clip art. Drag one of them into preview window to add it to your photo. |
Remember that not all clip art will open another window when you click on it. For one that does not, simply drag it to your photo to add it.
| • | Once the Cartoon Hair appear on your photo page. Drag it around with mouse to position it and use the scale/rotate slider button below preview window to resize/rotate |
You might notice some clipart thumbnail has [C] and [A] icon at the bottom corner. Clipart with [C] icon has color setting you can change (for example if it is a ball, you can change the ball color). Clipart with [A] icon is an animated clipart.

| • | Adding speech bubble |
Click on Speech Bubble tool button. Variety of speech bubbles will be listed underneath. Drag anyone of them into preview window to add it your photo page. You can type in speech bubble text in Content text box provided below preview window.

| • | Adding Sound |
Click on Sound tool button . Variety of sounds will be listed underneath. Drag anyone of them into preview window to add it to your photo page.

| • | Adding Recorded Voice |
Click on Record Voice tool button. Click on Record New button to record your voice using microphone.
Drag anyone of your pre-recorded voice into preview window to add them to Photo Page

| • | Changing page/theme settings (color, page delay, show/hide photo) |
Photo settings and Photo delay customization feature are only available in InAlbum 3.0 Deluxe version.
Click on Settings tool button.
You will see controls like the one showing below.
To disable/enable photo in this page, check/uncheck Show photo
To change the page delay (how long this page will show up) for this page, you can use settings under Page Delay
Some InAlbum 3.0 templates allow you to change its colors. For this type of templates, you will see a Theme color settings section with color component that you can alter under Page Delay.
| • | Download more Clip Arts, Speech Bubble and Sound |
Click on Download more online button underneath tool window. This will open your internet browser to visit inAlbum.com clipart gallery where you can download more clipart, speech bubble and sound
| • | Zoom in and out the photo page preview window |
Click on + and - button on top of preview window to zoom in and out. Click on o button to reset the zoom back to original size
| • | Copying a clip to other pages |
Click on the Clip wizard button at the upper right corner of the preview window. (A popup menu with the following selection will open up)
| • | Copy selected object into another page |
To use this feature you must select an object (clipart/speech bubble/sound/voice). This feature is used to copy the currently selected object into other page (one or many). When you select this menu item, a window showing pages within your show will open up. Check the page you want the object to be copied into and press OK.
| • | Delete object in other page similar to selected object |
To use this feature you must select an object (clipart/speech bubble/sound/voice). This feature is used to delete object similar to currently selected which resides in other pages. When you select this menu item, a window showing pages within your show will open up. Check the page you want the delete operation to be performed and press OK.
| • | Apply position/scale of selected object into similar object in another page. |
To use this feature you must select an object (clipart/speech bubble/sound/voice). This feature is used to apply the same position and scale of selected object similar to currently selected which resides in other pages. When you select this menu item, a window showing pages within your show will open up. Check the page you want the apply operation to be performed and press OK.
| • | Copy all objects in this page to another page. |
To use this feature you must have at least one object in current page. This feature will copy all objects you have in current page into other page (one or many). When you select this menu item, a window showing pages within your show will open up. Check the page you want the object to be copied into and press OK.
| • | Adding an additional photo into current page. |
Click on Import Image 
button at the top of the preview window. Then choose any photo in your computer.
To change the photo properties (selecting frames, drop shadow, color, etc), click on More settings button.
To add a photo effect, click effect button.
| • | Adding an SWF file into current page. |
Click on Import SWF 
button at the top of the window then select "SWF Flash file". Then choose the SWF file in your computer.
This feature is only available in InAlbum 3.0 Deluxe.
There are some limitation of SWF file you can import:
| • | The SWF file must not contain script that navigate the animation (stopping playback/jumping to different frame, etc). |
| • | The SWF file must not contain script that refer to _parent or _root |
| • | The SWF file must not contain streaming sound/video (This type of SWF will make the publish to AVI/VCD/DVD not working properly) |
If you would like to create an animated SWF, use frame rate of 12 as InAlbum published SWF file has frame rate of 12.
| • | Adding a video file into current page. |
Click on Import Video 
button at the top of the window then select a video file.

| • | Adding a GIF animation file into current page. |
Click on Import GIF animation 
button at the top of the window then select a GIF animation file. A transparency is supported.
| • | Adding a sound file into current page. |
Click on Import Sound button at the top of the window then select a WAV file.
| • | Adding a PNG/WMF file into current page. |
Click on Import PNG/WMF 
button at the top of the window then select a PNG/WMF file. The PNG transparency is supported.
| • | Adding a Text animation into current page. |
Click on Add Text 
button at the top of the window.
Use the controls next to text content textbox to adjust the font settings. To select a text effect, click more settings button.
