How do I create a DVD movie of my photo album?

First, you need to have external DVD burner software, for example NERO or ROXIO.

Then do the following steps :

Save the photo album as AVI video file

1. Open your photo album

2. Click Make VCD / AVI button. A popup window will appear.

3. On What type of CD movie you want to make? Choose AVI

4. Click setup button

For DVD NTSC video system (US and Asia), set Width = 720 , Height = 480, and Frame Rate = 29.97

For DVD PAL video system (Europe And Australia), set Width = 720, Height = 576, and Frame Rate = 25

Then choose a video CODEC, click change CODEC button.
Set the compressor, for example: Cinepak Codec by Radius, Microsoft MPEG4, or DivX 5.11 Codec.

Do not use Full Frames (Uncompressed) because the file size will be huge, and an AVI file is limited to 2 GB by Windows OS.

5. Choose video options, fully animated or not

6. Click next button

7. Another popup window will appear. Choose all shows that will be included in the AVI file

8. Click make CD Now button

9. Then specify the Output file (click Browse button), for example: D:\TEMP\MyMovie.AVI

10. Click Ok button and wait until the process finished.

After the process finished, you will have an .AVI file that is specially created for DVD movie. In the above example, the filename is MyMovie.AVI and saved in the D:\TEMP\ folder.

Then use your external DVD burner software to burn that .AVI file as DVD movie.
